You can either love or hate these patent pants from Zara. If you want to take your outfit to the next level, patent leather is a major key to do so. You can find yourself some amazing patent skirts, pants, shoes and bags. This means it’s not too hard to use this tactic. On top of this, they’re waterproof which means it’s suitable for rainy weather. Unfortunately there’s one con about wearing patent items. they aren’t very comfortable at all. The choice is yours: either chose something more confy or transform the overarching vibe of your look. I am the first to admit that patent leather trench coats and vinyl trousers sound rather terrifying on text. At first I hoped this trend would fly over. Nonetheless, such shiny items are proving to be one of the biggest trends of the year so far, worn by almost every trusted blogger I can think of. The piece was adopted fast by the likes of Pandora Sykes, Lucy Williams and Megan Ellaby, but that is only one of the many, many vinyl-finished pieces I spot on my daily (well, hourly) Instagram scroll. Now tell me, what do you think of the patent trend?
