While I was still processing the NYFW and LFW, fashion world already moved on to Milan Fashion Week. The fashion week in Milano was worth remembering. Missoni had focussed on heritage & craftsmanship, two principals that Italians appreciate a lot. Versace offered up bold declarations of unity and ofcourse there was the Dolce & Gabbana show that no one could have missed since there were no models walking the catwalk but real people well okay, ‘It’ people of all ages, races, and creeds. Last but not least was Jeremy Scott’s Moschino collection, part haute up-cycling, part eco-fashion screed, felt like a political stance, cloaked in his own defining originality. Even when this was all very interesting to see the most interesting for me are the street styles spotted in between shows. Above you can find my favourite looks.
